What’s your favorite T-Shirt? Where and why did you buy it? I don't typically wear a lot of t-shirts, however my favorite is an Adidas shirt that says “A badass July Women” that I ordered off of teespring.com. Its one of my favorites because it speaks volumes for women that were born in July.
What did you wear on your last date? On my last date I wore work out attire to start the day off and ended in a beautiful Banana Republic off the shoulder dress.
How did the date go? What did you do? The date was AMAZING! Literally everything I could have asked for. It started off at the Tree Runner Raleigh Adventure Park, which is a ropes course. It was a great way to conquer the fear of heights and a great team building exercise for myself and my partner. We then went home to shower and get ready for a candle lit dinner at Oro located in downtown Raleigh. Talk about spectacular food!
Where was the last place you traveled to? The last place I traveled was San Juan, Puerto Rico. It was probably one of the most beautiful places I've experienced in the US. The food was phenomenal and so authentic. The people were lively and welcoming at the same time, but the culture is what I enjoyed the most, it was incredibly captivating.
What was the most important thing you packed? Considering I'm a freelance model and MUA the most important thing that I packed was my moisturizer and Makeup kit for those romantic night outs on the town.
What was the most non-essential thing you shouldn’t have packed but packed anyway? I reviewed the weather before taking the trip, so I knew that it would be pretty hot and humid there. However, I packed some jeans anyway. Come to find out, I didn't need them at all.
What rules if any did you have about getting dressed when you were young? When I was younger I was obsessed with making sure whatever I decided to wear my earrings would always match my outfit. I started with my jewelry and worked my way down.
What is your favorite fashion bargain? How much do you wear it? I live for bargains! My favorite bargained item would have to be my Michael Kors sneaker that I purchased at Plato’s Closet. I don't typically wear a lot of sneakers unless their designer shoes. I try not to wear them as much as I do, but they literally go with everything. I wear them about twice a week.
Who was your style icon as a youngster? June Ambrose was my all time favorite style icon. She was actually one of the reason I went into fashion. She paved the way for African American stylist in Hollywood.
Who is one of your style icons now? Ri-Ri! I am absolutely in love with her style and personality. She is such a trend setter. She takes personality and put it into her fashion. She is bold and confident with every piece of clothing that she wears.
What do you wear when you work out? It's a little embarrassing but I don't actually work out. I consider working out; going to the gym and taking cute photos. However, I imagine myself wearing some cute matching Nike or Adidas sports bra and leggings with a nice pair of running shoes.
What do you wear to the grocery store? Typically when I'm going to the grocery I usually wear what I've worn that day. So depending if I wore sweats that day, which is rare for me... I'd wear that. Outfits vary for dressing up, to dressing down.
What shoes do you wear when you want to show off? I have these amazing color block heels that I purchased from Justfab.com and every time I wear them out I get the most compliments on how the pattern of the shoes compliment the outfit that I'm wearing. I can literally wear them with anything and they'll be the statement of the entire outfit.
What do you wish you had in your closet but don’t have? Any girl who doesn't own a pair of Christian Louboutin red bottoms in the closet, I'm sure feels like there missing out. Well, at least I do! I'd love to own a pair of red bottoms, I mean it’s a statement piece to have in your closet.
What do you have in your closet that you should throw away but still haven’t? I have tons of jeans that I still can wear from high school, that seem too hard to part with. I mean if you can still fit into them why not hang on to them?
What is the best piece of clothing or accessory that someone else bought for you? I don't typically entrust others to buy me clothing or jewelry for that matter. I'm typically very picky about those sorts of things. However, when I was younger my grandmother gifted a beautiful Mini-Mouse diamond ring that I was over the hills for.
Fill in the blanks about your closet!
I should throw away this my old high school jeans but I could never part with my vintage Tommy Hilfiger sports dress.
I spent too much money on a Target bathing suit but saved a lot of money on Zaful bikini.
I would love to be cast in Paris (Paris, Milan, New York) Fashion Week for the Victoria Secrets Fashion Show.
I wear this fragrance Chanel:Chance but I love smelling this fragrance on someone else Mark Jacobs Daisy.
